Our work is informed by over a decade of ongoing research and cultural exchange with artists and tribal communities in India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Ecuador and Papua New Guinea. These exchanges — often spanning periods of up to four months — have been partially supported by the British Council, the Commonwealth Games and Oficina de Suport a la Iniciativa Cultural de Catalunya, and undertaken with deep respect for the traditions and practices generously shared with us. We acknowledge the cultural origins of the forms we engage with and approach this artistic work as a continuing process — grounded in care, humility, and dialogue. Our intention is to honour these living traditions, and we remain committed to ongoing cultural exchange and  meaningful collaboration.
